Language has the power to captivate and image the power to enchant. Dreams can help one soar and memory can bring one to the ground. Stories are the essence of human experience and to tell stories well is my desire as a creator.
As a student, my creative practice is limited but diverse. I have worked in theatre as an actor, stage manager, assistance director, costumer and artistic collaborator. As a writer, I have a particular interest in short stories, as well as stage and screen writing. I have worked both domestically and internationally in the USA, and my experiences with travel have greatly informed my practice. The many people and stories I have come in contact with serve as inspiration and impetus for my writing and characters.
Interdisciplinary art is very important to me and I strive to work with as many different artists as possible and not to limit myself to a creative niche. While my art tends to deal with the heart and soul as a dedicated, well-organised and resourceful person, I endeavour to bring some of the logic of the mind to any practice.
